About Mismatch
How a $200 fantasy football win turned into a mission to revolutionize sports analytics.
Hey, I'm Mike. A few years ago, I finally won my fantasy football league for the first time ever. Took home a whole $200 and felt like I'd cracked some secret code. Naturally, I thought, "If I can dominate fantasy, how hard could sports betting be?"
Turns out, really hard.
But what frustrated me more than losing bets was how bad the tools were. Every app either had flashy graphics with garbage data, relied too much on hit rates, or charged crazy amounts for "expert picks" that felt like educated guesses at best.
I kept thinking there had to be something better out there. I spent months trying different platforms, and they all had the same problems: incomplete or inconsistent data, confusing interfaces, or pricing that made no sense.
So I did what any reasonable person would do when they can't find what they need: I built it myself.
Mismatch started as my personal project to solve my own problem. I wanted projections that were actually useful, for every player and every team, without having to pay for multiple subscriptions or deal with confusing interfaces. I wanted to make it easy to use, minimizing the time I need to do resarch and maximizing my wins.
What started as a tool for me has grown into something I'm genuinely proud of. We cover multiple sports, we're constantly adding new features, and we keep it simple with one flat rate for everything. No games, no hidden fees, no premium tiers.
If you're tired of settling for tools that don't actually help you win, maybe Mismatch is what you've been looking for too.
